How does it work?

Whenever we sell an item, we donate a similar one to someone in our local community who needs it!

P.S. We also offer a Donate all items shipping option that lets you pick items from our site to donate. We will also donate a similar item!

What community partners have you worked with?

We have previously donated to the Sunnydale Community Center, women’s shelter, YW KW, and the men’s shelter, House of Friendship in Waterloo, Ontario.

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

As a result of COVID-19, we are not attending any in-person events and you can only order items to ship or donate. 

We offer a local pick-up shipping option which is contactless at our headquarters.

Our donations to local organizations are still ongoing following their COVID-19 guidelines including contactless drop-off and donations by appointment only.

Where do you get your yarn?

Most of our yarn is provided through donations. However, we do buy yarn from local shops as needed.

How do I donate yarn or tools?

Please contact us to donate any leftover yarn or tools that you are not using.

What is the Donate all items shipping option?

If you select the Donate all items shipping option, we will donate all of the items in your checkout. If you do this, we still also donate the similar items! 

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to Canadian and international addresses. 

How do I wash my A Little Loopy item?

Since our yarns are often donated and their care instructions are not always included, we cannot guarantee that all of our items will survive a traditional wash/dry in a machine.

Please follow these care instructions:

• For dish cloths, wash on cold and dry on low.
• For all other items, handwash and lay them flat to dry. 

For stains, use a soft or natural cleanser, following label instructions.
